Watch free movies online on 66Stage

Sometime back I wrote about allfg.org where you could watch movies and TV shows for free.Well, I found another similar site called 66Stage. They have loads of movies, TV shows, documentaries, cartoons, etc.

Like allfg.org. they don't store the movies on their server but provide link to others sites such as Veoh, DivX, Google, Youku, etc.

The quality of some of the movies I have seen are quite good. That is if you don't mind the small screen and the awfully long buffering.

In fact as I write this, I am waiting for "Resident Evil: Extinction" to load

New show on TV coming soon

Blogs are often the best source of gossip and rumors and I guess my blogs are no exception. It's quite boring when you carry only news. I learnt by reading some of the popular blogs and I realise that putting in some of my own views and injecting some casual or idle talk certainly increases the entertainment factor of a blog. i found out that I certainly get more comments when I do so.

Talking about gossip on blogs, I am helping to create some buzz about a new American TV show that will premiere on Wednesday, September 19, 2007. Based on the popular series of novels by Cecily von Ziegesar, Gossip Girl on The CW is a teen drama about the lives of some rich teens living on the posh Manhattan's Upper East Side.

We see the drama unfolding in front the eyes of the narrator, a blogger with the nick name, Gossip girl (voiced by Kristen Bell). No one knows who this anonymous blogger is but they relies on her blog and text messages for the latest gossip.

The story starts with the news that former party girl Serena van der Woodsen played by Blake Lively, is suddenly back in town. Her best friend is Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) who shares a common romantic interest in Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford). Other important characters in the drama are Dan (Penn Badgley) and his sister Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) who come from a middle class background and somehow trying to adjust their new life.

That was just a peek from the drama was created by Josh Schwartz (creator of The O.C.), and Stephanie Savage. Looking forward to having the show shown here in the UK as well.

Chat about your favourite American idols

Do you follow American Idol show on Fox? Well if you do, I suggest you go over to idolme.com. They call it "Adult & teen chat rooms - American Idol and music" but technically it's a message board. As the name suggest, most of the topics are on American Idol. However, there are separate rooms for Australian and Canadian Idol as well. Also under "Idol me chat", there are separate rooms for Music, Television, Sports, Funny Stuff, Politics & Religion, as well as 'Off Topic Chat'.

I nearly fell of my chair while reading this post titled "Why American's Should Never Be Alloed To Travel" under Funny stuff (yeah 'Alloed' is a spelling mistake). I give you one sample:

A businessman called and had a question about the documents he needed in order to fly to China. After a lengthy discussion about passports, I reminded him he needed a visa. "Oh no I don't, I've been to China many times and never had to have one of those." I double checked and sure enough, his stay required a visa. When I told him this he said, "Look, I've been to China four times and every time they have accepted my American Express."

The discussion group seems to be very popular with 4,630 threads, 81,163 posts and 12,371 members, when I last checked. I didn't need to register to read the threads, many of which are hilarious. However, you need to sign up first in order to post any reply.

At first I didn't pay much attention to it, but later on I found out that the short biographies of various music artists on the right hand sidebar were quite informative - a brief biography, lists of songs and usually a YouTube video featuring the artist as well. The site is also linked to their blog called "Idol Based Informational Nonsense". Several hilarious posts on the blog.

Before posting on the blog, I recommend that all teenagers should read the "Be Safe Online" thread.

Watch movies, tv show and more for free

I recently got to know about this amazing site - allfg.org, (automatically redirects you to www12.alluc.org) from my wife, where you can find links to loads of movies, tv shows, music videos, documentaries, etc. totally free.

I was able to catch some episodes of 'Heroes'' that I had missed and loads of other TV shows and movies as well.

However, watch at your own risk. Their disclaimer says:

Best satelliteTV deals

We have satellite TV at home but were seriously considering signing up with a cable TV company because they were offering some great deals. Now a bit confused whether to stay on with the old one or to sign up with the cable TV.

If you are going through the same dilemma, then you might want to read what DealsOnSatelliteTV, a Satellite TV comparison site has to say. According to them the DISH Network and DIRECTV has several advantages over cable - they are cheaper and provide better programming.

They have also put up a comparison chart of the best deals offered by the two networks so as to enable the customer to make an informed choice. Whatever you choice, you can rest assured as both networks offer quality service and great prices.

Internet TV

Instant Media 1.2 (7.52 MB)is a free software that delivers TV shows to your PC. It's totally totally ad-ware and spyware free. Their patent pending media caching technology enables you to view high-quality, full screen video on your desktop.

It does have some minimum requirements though: Windows X, Windows Media Player 10 and Broadband Internet Connection

They have a selection of several hundred channels including CNN, MTV, ABC, etc.

I was fired from the CIA

Now for a free story.

I have kept it secret for a long time but now, I have decided to come out in the open. Can't stand keeping it inside me anymore. Well, the secret is that my name is Michael Westen and I used to work for the CIA. Yes! That's right. The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the US Government agency responsible for providing national security intelligence to senior US policymakers including and especially the President.

Well! I am sure you have an idea of what CIA agents are like. Of course you do - you have watched so many movies. It's all true. We are all silver belt martial arts experts (that above and better than a black belt). We are glamorous, drive the fastest modified sports cars and carry all the latest gadgets (partly Alien technology).

Of course we are also selected on the basis of our IQ (Intelligence Quotient) and EQ (Emotional Quotient) as well as our good looks and excellent physique.

I have worked in many dangerous as well as exotic locations around the World and successfully completed all missions apart from my last one. I am coming to that.

When I entered the agency I had lied about only one thing. Besides all the above mentioned requirements, all agents are required to be good dancers too. You never know when you have to do the Tango with a lady villainess. However, I can't dance for squat. All I can do is stand at one place and shake my butt a bit and that was my undoing. My last mission required me to break dance like Michael Jackson and every agent is given training at our HQ. However, I had skipped the training saying that I could do the moon walk better than Mike. I can't give details of my mission or they would kill me. Let me just say the mission failed because I couldn't break dance and they fired me from the agency.

Hope you enjoyed the story.

Actually I just wanted to create some buzz for USA Network's Burn Notice. Michael Weston (Jeffrey Donovan), the main character in USA Network's new TV series, "Burn Notice" starting June 28th, will be fired from the agency. Find out the real story behind his termination.
