Watch free movies online on 66Stage

Sometime back I wrote about allfg.org where you could watch movies and TV shows for free.Well, I found another similar site called 66Stage. They have loads of movies, TV shows, documentaries, cartoons, etc.

Like allfg.org. they don't store the movies on their server but provide link to others sites such as Veoh, DivX, Google, Youku, etc.

The quality of some of the movies I have seen are quite good. That is if you don't mind the small screen and the awfully long buffering.

In fact as I write this, I am waiting for "Resident Evil: Extinction" to load

ALShow - plays movies in any format

On my PC, I have QuickTime, Real Player, VLC media player and of course Windows Media Player. I am sure you have them on your computer as well. Why do we need to have all of these different media players on our computer? The answer is simple. Because there are different movie formats that only certain players can handle. I also hate downloading codecs every time I wanted to see a movie on DVD or a clip I downloaded from the net.

Wouldn't it be great if we had only one player that could play ALL movie formats.

Well our prayers have been answered. ALShow v1.5 beta 1. According to the website, it plays 24+ file extensions and comes with codecs preloaded. If the codec is not preloaded, it will get the new codecs automatically.

Watch movies, tv show and more for free

I recently got to know about this amazing site - allfg.org, (automatically redirects you to www12.alluc.org) from my wife, where you can find links to loads of movies, tv shows, music videos, documentaries, etc. totally free.

I was able to catch some episodes of 'Heroes'' that I had missed and loads of other TV shows and movies as well.

However, watch at your own risk. Their disclaimer says:

By clicking on any Links to videos while surfing on Allfg.org you leave Allfg.org, Allfg.org cant take the responsibility for any content hosted on other sites.

Windows Movie Maker 2.1

A friend wanted to edit some movies and asked me whether I could recommend some software preferably free. She didn't know it but she already had a movie editor in her computer - Windows Movie Maker 2.1 for XP.

Though without many advanced features present in other movie editors, I recommend it because 1. It's Free and 2. it is an easy to use software.

You can create a movie using simple drag-and-drop. You can also do some minor editing and cut scenes you don't want. It also has the ability to add text with various effects. Great for credits.

If you already haven't, Movie Maker 2.1 is available for download with Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2). However, you need to turn on the Automatic Updates feature. Or you can download it from the Download.com site here.

NOTE:
1. It runs only on Windows XP
2. Does not recognise .mov movies.

I was fired from the CIA

Now for a free story.

I have kept it secret for a long time but now, I have decided to come out in the open. Can't stand keeping it inside me anymore. Well, the secret is that my name is Michael Westen and I used to work for the CIA. Yes! That's right. The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the US Government agency responsible for providing national security intelligence to senior US policymakers including and especially the President.

Well! I am sure you have an idea of what CIA agents are like. Of course you do - you have watched so many movies. It's all true. We are all silver belt martial arts experts (that above and better than a black belt). We are glamorous, drive the fastest modified sports cars and carry all the latest gadgets (partly Alien technology).

Of course we are also selected on the basis of our IQ (Intelligence Quotient) and EQ (Emotional Quotient) as well as our good looks and excellent physique.

I have worked in many dangerous as well as exotic locations around the World and successfully completed all missions apart from my last one. I am coming to that.

When I entered the agency I had lied about only one thing. Besides all the above mentioned requirements, all agents are required to be good dancers too. You never know when you have to do the Tango with a lady villainess. However, I can't dance for squat. All I can do is stand at one place and shake my butt a bit and that was my undoing. My last mission required me to break dance like Michael Jackson and every agent is given training at our HQ. However, I had skipped the training saying that I could do the moon walk better than Mike. I can't give details of my mission or they would kill me. Let me just say the mission failed because I couldn't break dance and they fired me from the agency.

Hope you enjoyed the story.

Actually I just wanted to create some buzz for USA Network's Burn Notice. Michael Weston (Jeffrey Donovan), the main character in USA Network's new TV series, "Burn Notice" starting June 28th, will be fired from the agency. Find out the real story behind his termination.
