Word count script

I finally found a script that tells me the "word count" of stuff I have written. The need arose after I joined payperpost and other companies that paid me to blog. Most of their opportunities had different Word count requirement and I would get tired doing the copy and paste routine between MS Word and Blogger just to count the number of words.

I found a script that makes the task a whole lot easier in the Java Script Source.

I didn't put it here on this blog because I would have to make changes to the template and I don't want to do that. The solution is to put a bookmark button on my Firefox browser and do the copy, paste and count routine on the site. At least I don't have to open up MS Word and wait for it to load.

Have been trying to find a word count add on for Firefox but without any success.

Any other simpler solutions?
