Recently I was pleasantly surprised when I found that several of my present course-mates shared similar interests. After getting to know them better, I found out that several of them were fans of sci-fi movies and played video games on their PCs. The rest found it quite surprising considering the fact that we are "mature" and some of us had school going kids. We were discussing how we were kind of ashamed of admitting that in public.
Anyway, my favourite games are the old popular arcade games which are now available for the PC and role playing games. Recently I was reading an article of how huge the Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing (MMORPG) industry has become. For those who are not aware, in MMORPGs, hundreds of players interact and role play virtually online. It is the most popular gaming genres around and has become a multibillion dollar industry, with the World of Warcraft (commonly known as WoW) being the biggest title around. It is estimated that the WOW has over 9 million subscribers around the world. After playing against the computer for years, it was an amazing experience when I first played a MMORPG. The games are addictive and entertaining at the same time. I used to spend hours playing various titles but now, with all the commitments, I simply can't find the time.
In WoW, you control a character avatar and the adventures it goes through the three dimensional virtual world, all depends on you. Beside fighting with your online enemies and the monsters, you also earn virtual gold. Almost everyone who's into the games knows that you can buy the virtual gold for real money and use it to buy better weapons or upgrade your armour.
There are several companies selling wow gold at really competitive prices. Some of them offer 24/7 customer service and extremely fast delivery speeds. This side industry is currently dominated by Chinese companies.
