CWShredder shreds browser hijackers

I have both Spybot and Ad-Aware installed on my computer. However, I recently discovered that they might not be able to clean a range of browser hijackers known as 'CoolWebSearch'.

To find and remove traces of them, use CWShredder.

The story of it's development is quite interesting. It was initially developed by a Dutch programmer, Merijn Bellekom. CWShredder was bought by InterMute which maintained it as a standalone download. In June 2005, InterMute was aquired by Trend Micro. the software is now owned and maintained by Trend Micro.
