Google maps for your mobile

Now Google Maps is available for your mobile. Google calls this application the Google mobile mapping or GMM for short.

Right now they have maps for ten countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.

You can download the maps from at www.google.com/gmm using your mobile's web browser.

You can also download the CAB and ActiveSync in case of Windows Mobile users. On the other hand, Palm OS users can download the prc and HotSync.

In the US, they have gone a step further by integrating the Google Maps with Enhance your Google Maps experience with Global Positioning System (GPS) so that you can see your location on the map (as a blue dot) and moves as you do. You will never get lost again. You can even plan your route and even get directions to your destination.
