Free entry into the Coventry Transport Museum

I recently visited the Coventry Transport Museum situated at the Millennium Place, Hales street CV1 1PN, just opposite the Pool Meadow Bus Station at the city centre here.

Was pleasantly surprised to learn that unlike other museum, admission here was completely free. Further more you are allowed to take pictures. The place has an amazing collection of classic cars. It claims to have "The largest collection of British road transport in the world".

Their site has a searchable multimedia database . Kids will enjoy the online game.

Not your typical tourist destination but a "must visit" if you happen to visit Coventry. Check out the loads of pics I took there on my auto blog.
